i LOVE saturday mornings. |
Well, most of the time. Unlike this morning, I usually wake up on my own, but today was different. First, I forgot to turn my alarm clock off from the week, so I was awoken at 6:15, but I immediately turned it off and fell back asleep. Then at 8:50, I woke up because I heard SCREAMING. Loud, in my ear, screaming. My neighbor decides it is the right time to start SINGING. Yes, his singing is actually screaming. I was a bit irritated at first, but I got over it. I needed to get up anyway I guess. I don’t know. Everyone tells me I should bang on the wall, but that seems so… rude? I know he is being noisey, but then I think about all the times Jeremy and I are noisey and he doesn’t bang on the wall. So, I’ll let it slide, lol. Anyway, that was my morning. I got up, made myself some eggs and coffee. I think the coffee has given me a headache though. Boo.
Oh! Last night we watched Slumdog Millioinare. SUCH a good movie. Jeremy is a huge fan of Danny Boyle, so I’m forced to watch anything by him. But this time I can’t complain, I absolutely loved the story.
My weekend plans consist of cleaning, cleaning, laundry and more cleaning. Of course. That’s what I do every weekend. It’s the only time I actually have the energy to do it. Unless its 10pm on a week night when I should actually be going to bed. Anyway. A girl from work wants to hang out, so we might do that. I haven’t decided yet.
The first week of my diet went extremely well. The only time I went off course was when I had Starbucks
I couldn’t resist though, I was having a bad day and really needed it, lol. I lost 3 pounds. I need to meet up with Sarah, one of my good friends who is a personal trainer. She said she’d help me come up with a workout plan/schedule. I’m gonna go up to the gym today and just walk the treadmill.
My meal plan for last week was so easy, yet healthy and extremely tasty!
Sunday: grilled chicken, sweet potato and veggies
Monday: boca burgers, veggies and sweet potato fries
Tuesday: grilled chicken caesar salad
Wednesday: chicken quesadillas. (I used a jalapeno cheddar wrap which made it extra tasty!)
Thursday: italian pasta salad (Probably my favorite meal last week)
Friday: mini meatloaves (I used ground turkey. I’m actually going to put the recipe up for this soon, it was amazing!)
The only thing bad about buying healthy food is our grocery shopping was a lot more expensive than before. I’m going to have to come up with some alternatives.
I got paid yesterday, so of course I did my weekly Target run. I got new underwear. They’re only 3 bucks a piece and I really needed some new ones. I also got a new robe. It was 75% off, so it cost me a whole $4.
Well, I’m going to go. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Eating properly IS expensive. I’ve never really had an issue with eating healthy, I just never used to eat nearly as much as I should have been. I’m definitely noticing a big difference in my grocery bill now. Ooof.
your diet sounds good…..but they’re right, eating healthy is expensive. and oddly enough so is living green i found out haha.
but i loved slumdog millionaire! definitely one of the best movies this year for sure.
Congratulations on the healthy eating. I hope you continue to have success
Losing weight the healthy way can be so rewarding, just wait and see! You also have some awesome meal plans for dinner or lunch too, they sound delicious! Good job!

LOL I am so sorry! I know how irritating the sing/screaming must have been but its funny to read…. My neighbours are wicked, but the ones beside them are OMG annoying and all they do is party….
Your meal plan looks very yummy…
I should start making meal plans, with such a busy family life it would probably be smart
I give you credit!
